We just wanted to thank the KIIS FM judges for being so kind and supportive yesterday in our interview. It really meant a lot to us to even have the opportunity to tell our story:) You guys were so unbelievably cool, your smiling faces were really encouraging and made the whole process SO much easier! No matter what happens this has been an awesome experience :)

Some PC users were experiencing frame-rate issues on Bionic Commando: Rearmed, but have no fear--Gearoid is here.  He says:

What a week   I don't know where to start I guess lets start with school I got a call Weds morning from Gwinette Tech saying they do not have my application good thing to hear 2 weeks before school starts NOT!!I sent that in the first week of June so they have had more then enough time to process it so I called and left a message because I can never get anyone live then I get a call today saying that info is missing from my application and thats fine but one minute they are saying that they dont have it then they are saying that they do so which one is it? Now I have to call again monday and find out what the hello is going on its enough to drive you nuts. I will get it straight im sure its a pain in the ass.

Then ontop of that I had to e-mail these people again about the cell phone issue because these people will not give me a prepaid credit card I have to go into the MetroPCS store and pay $5 more then my bill is just to pay it makes no sense but what can I do they make me sick this is after I had a meeting with them before I left MD and they looked in my face and said everything is set now that I'm here its a total 180 makes no sense really I wanna get this **** out of the way so I can focus on school the only way I'm staying sane is having Robert I can't wait to be in his arms this weekend.

Plus I asked my dad if he could help me with something so far I have not gotten an answer I'm trying to give him sometime but I have a feeling that I could be disappointed again but who know we'll see right???

I have the most stress full days at work< and i gotta sy the only thing that get me through them is 98Rock from 10am to 3pm cause Rig keeps it loud and rolling the whole time. And i heard recently he has renewed his contract with 98 and i couldnt be happier to knoe he will continue to provide a most awesome service for us fans....  So in closing Big Rig is a living legend in the bay for the last 17 years and will be for 17 more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings:

Overall, it’s been a good week.  Work is clearly picking up; I have a lot to do next week. I was in Family Court yesterday.  The primary issue for one divorcing couple was custody of the vacuum cleaner.  I think they would have bickered back and forth about it all afternoon if the judge had permitted it.  I kid you not.  I have never been divorced, and I am starting to be leave that being involved in a divorce kind of puts people in an altered state, sort of a five-year-old mindset.  I posted about the vacuum cleaner people on one of my professional Web sites, and the stories came pouring in from other court reporters.  One guy petitioned the court for visitation rights to farm animals acquired during the marriage.  One couple fought over a cutting board shaped like the state of Iowa.  In another case, the issue was a watch that didn’t work.  Yep, definitely an altered state.

I have been doing really well with food and exercise this week.  I am finding that it’s giving me a lot of peace of mind when waking to know that I didn’t eat compulsively the day before.  Hmm.  That’s worth dwelling on.  But sometimes the best-laid plans go awry.  I went out for a walk early this AM.  I wound up slipping on some slimy mud on a sidewalk even though I was walking carefully.  I was able to control my fall enough so that all I wound up with was abrasions on one knee.  I was able to walk home and take care of it.  I emailed the town manager saying what had happened and that there needed to be those safety-warning-foldout signs in this area when they ran sprinklers at night.  I got a response a couple of hours later showing me that they’d already forwarded this to the relevant party, and I just got an email from the Roadside Manager (interesting title) saying he’d already dispatched a crew to clear the sidewalk, put up safety cones, and assess the irrigation situation.  Wow, I’ll vote for these folks.  What concerns me was that there could so easily be a worse accident.  It was a bit of a shock, I must admit.  I felt really rattled until about an hour ago.  I’m dabbing aloe vera gel on the abrasion every hour or so, though, and it’s healing right up.

The big event of the week was getting our iPhones.  I am so pleased with mine.  I wouldn’t have forked out the money for it without being convinced beforehand that I would like and use it., but I didn’t realize how user-friendly it is and how easy it is to get up and running as soon as you get it home.  I took it to court yesterday, and before I’d had the thing 24 hours, I already got a reporting job I would have missed out on if I hadn’t been able to check my email while waiting for proceedings to start.  My iPhone and I are well on the way to being inseparable.

Got up this morning, had some coffee and yogurt, got the house picked up, laundry done then Katie, Ela, and I went and grabbed a slice of pizza, picked up a movie to watch Sunday night, stopped by the library and dropped off some books.  Came home and Katie did her school work in record time plus some extra reading to get ahead next week.  Our local cable company is putting on a free movie in the park tonight so we are gonna eat and by that time Mike will be home so Ela will stay here with him.  The rest of the girls' and I are gonna pop some popcorn, take our picnic blanket and some icy cold water and head to the park.  They are showing E.T. and giving away prizes and beach towels. 

i know i;ve always played second string...im sure i always will. so why is it that when someone comes along saying that im not going to be second for them and even though i know its a le...because it always is...why do i believe them.

why do i let people, use, abuse, and take advantage of me?

i try to be who i am and people hate me for it. so i try to be who society says i should be and people still hate me for it. i try making sure everyone else is happy and healthy and people hate me for that almost worse than anything else. i try to take care of them and i get yelled at, i try to protect them and they attack me. how can my body and mind keep taking this. the hate. the rejection.
I try to do everything i can to be accepted or loved or...even just noticed and i get left behind in the dust still waiting to be told where it is im supposed to be going.
people hate the situation they're in, but once they're out of it...they get all depressed and hate that they arent still in the situation. i understand disliking change, but i cant understand how, when you'r trying to find a way out of a situation, you are sad when you DO get out of said situation.
If you want something different and you're trying to get it....why do you refuse it once you have your hands on it.

i dont know why i keep letting this happen. with the same people. with different people. with everyone in my life. everyone wants something from me and when i try to give it to them they always hate me for it.

i hate my friends.
I hate my lovers.
And i hate myself.

Some people want me to have better self-esteem. the problem that they dont know is...once i get that self-esteem. its very likely i will keep it and walk away from them. they will never be with me while i have self-esteem because once i have it i wont want to put up with their bullshit anymore. and i wont put up with it.

you wanted me to have self-esteem...now watch me walk away with it.
